We're looking for a skilled Electrician to join our dedicated engineering team supporting critical infrastructure across a range of domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Based at key MOD site RAF Molesworth, including occasional travel to RAF Alconbury and USVF West London, this role puts you at the heart of essential UK and US operations.
About the role
You'll be responsible for planned maintenance, remedial work, and reactive repairs, delivering high-quality results on time. Tasks include replacing light switches and MCBs, conducting lighting tests, minor installations, and system testing. Your expertise will help maintain critical systems.
Work will be assigned through your PDA, and you'll have the autonomy to manage your schedule effectively. All work must be documented accurately with clear notes. You will also work closely with the wider engineering team and support emergency callouts as part of an on-call rota.
Requirements
* City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* The 18th Edition with Amendment 2
* A full, clean UK driving licence
* Previous experience in electrical maintenance across domestic, commercial, and industrial settings
* Experience in carrying out Fixed Wire Inspections
Desirable qualifications include C&G 2391 in Testing & Inspection, an IPAF qualification, or experience in MOD or secure property maintenance environments.
