Job Description:

The Technical Sales Account Manager builds and maintains relationships with existing customers through regular communication and excellent customer service. Tasks include meeting and exceeding sales targets, increasing industry knowledge, ensuring high levels of customer care, and providing technical knowledge and professional advice. The role involves growing Knight Optical’s customer spend through new business practices and sector-oriented research.


Responsibilities:

* Respond to technical and pricing enquiries received by phone, email, and via the website.
* Consult with customers and Knight Optical technical staff to source and quote appropriate products.
* Coordinate with suppliers and technical staff to provide accurate quotations.
* Follow up on live quotations with customers.
* Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction.
* Identify and establish contact with new customers to expand business.
* Research new opportunities for sector growth and sales.
* Update customers on order status and shipment details.
* Follow up on recent orders to ensure satisfaction and future orders.
* Monitor customer visits to the website and report weekly on personal order pipeline.

Hours of Work:

Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00; Friday 08:30 – 15:00
