Room Leader | Full Time | 40 Hours Per Week

We are on the lookout for a passionate Room Leader to guide our team in delivering our ethos and curriculum to our children and families. Our nursery operates from 7:00 am to 6:15 pm, and we need someone who can embrace varied shift patterns within these hours.
Your Role: Room Leader Responsibilities
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic daily needs of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
* Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with top-notch quality.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Requirements
Room Leader Qualifications and Skills:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
* More than 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
* Fluent in written and spoken English - Essential
