We are currently recruiting for a Marketing & Events Assistant for our Skincare, Bath & Body category!
Department Overview
A key department within Space NK, the Marketing department are responsible for creating campaigns that engage current customers and drive new customer acquisition. The department consists of five teams: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Content, Social and Events.
Role Purpose
The marketing and events assistant reports to the senior marketing and events coordinator, working closely with the rest of the marketing department and wider teams across the business including the commercial category teams, PR, VM, creative and more. The role is responsible for assisting in the successful day-to-day delivery of marketing plans and events for Skincare, Bath & Body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the marketing calendar with all activity relevant to Skincare and Bath & Body
brands.
- Create presentations to display marketing plans for Skincare and Bath & Body brand
product launches. Sharing these with the wider business and brand partners in a timely
manner.
- Support relationships with Skincare and Bath & Body brand partners, ensuring they are
aware of upcoming activity and have the right assets to support marketing from their channels.
- Support the Senior Marketing and Events Coordinator to deliver digital and in-person events for Skincare and Bath & Body brands. Including but not limited to: liaising with suppliers, creating goody bags, running guest lists and more.
- Ensure the wider business including the marketing, retail and merchandising teams are
briefed on all upcoming events activity in a timely manner.
- Be a front of house representative for the Marketing team at all in-person events, on hand to support with setup and breakdown where required.
- Brief in marketing and events assets to design, copy and printers ensuring process aligns with the critical path.
- Share upcoming activity with the Local Marketing Manager and equip them with what is
required to drive awareness of activity in your category.
- Create reports to illustrate performance of marketing activity.
- Conduct regular competitor research and industry analysis to ensure the marketing team are aware of new initiatives.
- Support with ad hoc administration tasks for the marketing team.
