Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded appropriately.
* Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
* Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
* Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Manage payroll processing and maintain employee records where required.
* Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc financial tasks.
* Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role within the accounting and finance sector.
* Working knowledge of the software Xero.
* Familiarity with accounting software and tools, ensuring efficient task completion.
* Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
* Effective organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
