TeacherActive is working in partnership with a number of friendly and inclusive primary schools across South Manchester. These schools are committed to providing a strong foundation for pupils in Key Stage 1 and are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support both teachers and pupils in the classroom.
We are currently recruiting for a range of opportunities, including day-to-day supply, long-term roles, and potential permanent positions. This flexibility allows you to gain experience across different school settings while building confidence and developing your skills.
At TeacherActive, we understand the important role Teaching Assistants play in supporting children’s early education. We aim to make the process as smooth as possible, from registration through to placement.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting KS1 pupils
Knowledge of phonics programmes (Read Write Inc or similar)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and enthusiastic approach
