Community Hub Coordinator
We are seeking an enthusiastic Community Hub Coordinator to support our teams and service users within Community Health Services for Nursing and Therapy, primarily based at St Luke's Hospital, Market Harborough. Weekend and occasional shifts may be required from Springfield Road Health Centre, Leicester. Service operates 08:00 to 18:00, Monday through Sunday; the role requires full flexibility to cover all shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Perform general administrative tasks and use the electronic patient record system (SystmOne) to process referrals, manage tasks, support data collection for audits and ensure accurate data entry.
* Support Community Nursing and Therapy teams, Team Leads and clinicians, including ordering and monitoring equipment and supplies.
* Communicate effectively with service users and team members, and adapt to changing demands while maintaining flexibility and teamwork.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent).
* Experience working in the NHS or a similar complex organisation.
* Background in a customer service environment.
* Experience handling varied and changing administrative demands.
* IT‑literate, including SystmOne, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and internet.
* Strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi‑task and work under pressure.
* Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain a high level of organisation.
* Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle; free parking is available.
* All jobs require permission to work in the UK.
* Disclosure and Barring Service check required (subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975).

Band: Band 3
Salary: £25,760 to £27,476 a year
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Full‑time
Shift pattern: 08:00–18:00, Monday–Sunday (bank‑holiday shifts attract enhancements)
Probation: 6‑month probationary period for new staff
