About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a busy and friendly educational environment in Rugby. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming space for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Carry out general cleaning duties in classrooms, corridors, offices, dining areas, and toilets Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely Cleaning touchpoints and ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the site manager Ensuring cleaning supplies are used and stored correctly Following all safeguarding and health & safety procedures Requirements Enhanced DBS check (required for immediate start – candidates without one must be willing to obtain it) Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards Hours & Pay 3:30PM - 6:30PM
