Job purpose: The onsite administrator based at Birmingham City University will manage administration tasks associated with the Manpower Student engagement model on campus. This role is instrumental to the success of the overall account provision where Manpower has the responsibility of aligning students to paid work opportunities within the establishment as well as managing on-going development to prepare students for Employment following their time at Birmingham City University.

Accountabilities
1. Develop good relationships with all user managers across the BCU locations
2. Ensure that the Hiring Manager at BCU is updated on progress of resource requests such as staffing for Student Open Days and Exam invigilators via email
3. Assisting in the management of local events to ensure the supply of suitable students to fill requirements and to develop a pool of students ready to work in paid assignment with Manpower as and when required
4. Conduct face to face meetings with any Manpower Associates to discuss on-boarding activity - verifying paperwork
5. Within the on-boarding activity - Issue and explain the Key Worker Information to candidates highlighting their employment status and benefits
6. Support field staff with any queries including pay and holidays
7. Responsible for the maintenance of our Power Suite technology ensuring that all elements of the system are kept up to date including candidate information, timesheets, extensions
8. Ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with Manpower's values and standards
9. Other adhoc duties and project work as required
Person profile - background, skills and experience Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Understand the need to adapt communication style between Hiring Managers and Students
The nature of the contract will require a flexible approach to workload. Key activity is delivered at specific annual events around the University academic calendar
Must be flexible and be able to travel across campus as required

Basic IT knowledge
Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday during term time onsite, out side of term time would be working from home
