Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of transportation? We’re on the lookout for a Project Commercial Manager to join our dynamic Rail team in Salford. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the strategy and delivery of our Commercial and Quantity Surveying function on exciting projects. Your mission? To maximize service quality and project profitability while working within the framework set by our Director/Commercial Manager.
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional office visits.
Hours: Permanent Full-time - We offer flexibility on hours, just let us know what works for you!
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per year + annual car allowance + private healthcare + additional benefits.
Your Responsibilities
As our Project Commercial Manager, you will:
* Establish and monitor the commercial strategy and framework for projects.
* Oversee and manage all aspects of subcontractor accounts.
* Compile monthly applications for payment to clients and track certifications.
* Collaborate with project operational staff to ensure profitable and commercial decisions are understood.

* Have experience delivering large-scale projects in the rail industry.
* Possess a solid understanding of contract conditions, including obligations, valuations, and final accounts.
* Are familiar with the NEC suite of contracts.
