Responsibilities
* Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store, prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse and replenishing shelves.
* Run a full store operation single‑handedly overnight, responsible for the full shift and the safety and well‑being of colleagues.
* Ensure that standards are brilliant come morning so we’re ready to serve customers.
* Manage performance and capability, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure scheduling and pay are accurate.
Qualifications
* Comfortable with night shift working and adaptable to the physical and mental impact of these shift patterns.
* Previous line management responsibilities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
* Resilient to deal with both the mental and physical demands of working nights.
* Provides brilliant customer service and coaches a team to do the same.
* Has experience delivering and monitoring KPI’s or other performance indicators.
* Can manage disciplinaries, performance issues or other employee‑relations issues.
* Leads operations and is comfortable doing this alone in absence of more senior management.
* Has a track record of delivering customer service and coaching colleagues.
* Experience leading a team in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment – motivated others and drove performance.
* Operational leadership skills – taken responsibility for store operations in the absence of senior managers.
* Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs – sales, availability, customer satisfaction or colleague engagement.
* Has managed employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
* Experience working night shifts in a high‑volume operational environment – created a safe, supportive atmosphere during out‑of‑hours trading.
