Maintenance Assistant/Handyperson role at Parkwood Leisure. Salary up to £27,000 per annum. The opportunity involves joining the contract maintenance team at Leisure sites in West Northants and Cherwell (based in Bicester, Kidlington, Banbury, Towcester and Brackley). The role requires high standards of workmanship, assisting with general maintenance, and managing redecoration and monthly schedules to ensure properties are in excellent decorative condition.
Responsibilities
* Complete planned, routine, breakdown and reactive maintenance across the site.
* Perform basic building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating.
* Work in swimming pool plant rooms as required.
* Assist with redecoration and manage monthly maintenance schedules to sustain high decorative standards.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team and take initiative when appropriate.
The Person / Requirements
* Flexible to work variable day or night shifts on any day of the week to suit business demands.
* Ability to work as part of a team and also independently with initiative.
* Attention to detail and pride in workmanship; a demanding role requiring strong focus.
* Experience of working in occupied properties.
* Skills should cover electrical, carpentry, plumbing and painting & decorating; must cover all disciplines.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Good computer literacy.
