Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: Providing support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities Assisting teachers in the classroom with lesson preparation and delivery Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Working one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional support Assisting students with personal care and mobility, if required Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with individuals with special educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and strategies Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily within a school setting Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents Potential for assisting with outdoor activities and school trips All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
