We are seeking a Medical Administrator to join our busy administration team. You will provide a high-quality administrative and secretarial support to medical staff and the wider clinical team. This role ensures the smooth coordination of patient care through accurate documentation, efficient communication, and professional service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, healthcare organisation. Key Responsibilities Provide secretarial assistance to consultants, clinicians and the multidisciplinary team. Type, format, and proofread medical correspondence, clinic letters, and reports (including audio dictation/transcription). Manage and maintain consultant diaries and appointments. Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally. Manage patient bookings and follow-up appointments. Liaise with patients, families, and external healthcare providers to facilitate care. Ensure patient information is recorded accurately and handled confidentially in compliance with data protection policies. Support the preparation and delivery of clinic lists and discharge summaries. Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic and paper-based medical records. Provide support to the wider team as and when required, including covering reception. Contribute to quality improvement and service development initiatives Essential Criteria Qualifications & Experience: 1 years experience in a medical secretary or healthcare administrative role. Proficient in medical terminology, dictation, and patient database systems. Excellent typing skills Strong organisational and time-management abilities. High level of attention to detail and confidentiality. Skills & Attributes: Professional and courteous communication style. Collaborative team player with initiative and reliability.
