CNC Turner
Perm Role, £35k-£45k pa DOE, Days, 37hrs per week, Mon-Thurs, Overtime. Location: WETHERBY. The core working hours are 37hrs per week, 7.30am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday. Overtime is available and paid at Time + 1/3 on weekdays and Time + 1/2 on Saturdays.
The role is advertised as Permanent from day one.
Responsibilities
* Adhere to all Quality and H&S Standards
* Read and work from complex engineering drawings
* Program and edit CNC turning operations
* Operate CNC machinery with conversational programming experience
* Machining one-off pieces and very small batches
* Work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience
* Ideally 5 years’ experience in CNC Machining
* Excellent CNC Turning skills with ability to program and edit
* Conversational programming experience is essential
* Good working knowledge of Fanuc controls
* Capable of reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
* Experience machining one-off pieces and very small batches
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience working to ISO9001:2015 and Fit4Nuclear standards (desirable)
Desirable Skills
* Experience machining a wide range of specialist materials including heavy flame-cut structural steels, high-tensile steel, aluminium, brass, bronze and acetal
* Manual Turning knowledge would be advantageous
* C/B FLT license would be beneficial
