We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join a secondary school in Newham. This full-time role involves supporting students with additional learning needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
Collaborate with subject teachers, support staff, and external agencies
Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
Contribute to the development of an inclusive and supportive school environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching secondary students with special educational needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, resilience, and creativity in lesson delivery
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
