As our Clinical Educator, you’ll deliver a best-in-class Nursing curriculum that meets the learning needs of RN’s, HCAs, Nurse Associates, and pre-registration Nurses. You’ll support the delivery of multi-disciplinary programmes that facilitate initial registration, e.g., Adaptation and Graduate Development Programmes. You’ll work as an integral part of the Learning Foundation Nurse Education team, playing a fundamental role in designing and delivering Nursing education, professional development activities, and providing exceptional service through measurable learning interventions.
As our Clinical Educator, you will:
1. Act as a subject matter expert for Nurse Education and Learning & Development, representing the Learning Foundation at internal/external meets and events, as required.
2. Design and deliver bespoke learning solutions (both in-house and with third-party experts) utilizing various methodologies, including blended learning approaches such as e-learning, workshops, toolkits, virtual classrooms, face-to-face delivery, simulation, practice-based learning, experiential learning, and coaching.
3. Provide SME guidance on learning solutions within your area of expertise, such as student placements, pre-registration education, nurse education, mandatory training, role-specific activities, and CPD.
4. Support the delivery of an innovative, externally-facing clinical education curriculum that provides financial and social value for the charity.
5. Support pre- and post-registration Nurse education across the charity, ensuring alignment with workforce needs and high-quality learner experiences.
6. Provide learner support across designated clinical education programmes to ensure positive learning outcomes.
To succeed as our Clinical Educator, you will:
1. Be a Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
2. Hold a Degree or equivalent with experience in designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
3. Possess Level 3 AET (or equivalent).
4. Be a Practice Assessor.
5. Have a post-registration nursing qualification in your area of specialization (e.g., PG Cert in Clinical Education) — desirable.
6. Have experience in learning design and delivery.
7. Demonstrate ability to manage quality assurance processes.
8. Have good knowledge of creating accessible and inclusive learning.
9. Proven skills in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning strategies.
