A fantastic Design Technology teacher is needed to join the faculty at one of our partner schools in Shipley ASAP until the end of Academic Year.
This school is exceptional and has outstanding facilities. Along with children that are eager to learn, you will work together with some of the area's top teachers.
Requirements:
1. QTS - Non essential
2. Design Technology Teaching Experience
3. To possess effective classroom management strategies
4. Having a DBS already on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new DBS application
Responsibilities:
5. Planning hands-on, engaging and dynamic DT technology lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4
6. Delivering spectacular DT technology lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4
7. Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum requirements
8. Have and keep a solid understanding of your subject, and be willing to embrace a more practical approach to the curriculum.
9. Create a challenging and stimulating classroom climate that will motivate pupils to learn, think independently, empathise with others, and perform to the best of their abilities.
10. Observe the learning requirements of the students you teach, and make sure that every student has the chance to reach their full potential.
