Interim Commercial Legal Counsel (3–6 PQE) – London (2-3 months)
We’re supporting a global petrochemical business on an urgent interim requirement within its Legal team, providing broad commercial support across multiple business functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded lawyer looking to step into a fast-paced, international environment on a short-term basis.
The Role
You will partner with key stakeholders across:
* Sales
* Procurement
* Marketing
* Finance
* Supply Chain
Delivering practical, business-focused legal support on a wide range of day-to-day commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, including:
* Distribution agreements
* Supplier / procurement contracts
* Marketing and promotional agreements
* Logistics and supply chain arrangements
* Supporting multiple internal stakeholders across functions and jurisdictions
* Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice in a fast-moving environment
About You
* Qualified lawyer with 3–6 years’ PQE
* Strong background in commercial contracts (in-house or private practice)
* Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
* Confident, pragmatic, and able to work with minimal supervision
* Exposure to sectors such as FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or energy is beneficial but not essential
