Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Project Manager to oversee and deliver a range of construction and refurbishment projects in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and deliver construction projects from inception to completion.
* Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and health & safety standards.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
* Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.
* Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
* Manage handover processes and final project documentation.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the UK construction sector.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills.
* Ability to lead and manage multiple teams and subcontractors.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
* Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (degree or equivalent).
* Valid CSCS card or equivalent certification (preferred).
* Full UK driving licence.
