Description As a Manager - IT, you are responsible for coordinating activities of staff engaged in business systems, computer operations, computer systems, computer programming, and company's network to assure effective computer resources are provided to users. Responsibilities: Manage Business and IT operations, including applications, and support services, ensuring reliability and scalability. Collaborate with our business partners across the world. Oversee project management for IT initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and deliver effective, scalable solutions. Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics, using insights to recommend and implement improvements. Analyzes problems and capabilities to develop solutions for improved operating procedures, alternate processing methods, communications, information flow, management reporting, and operational efficiency. Directs training or trains personnel in operation of information equipment. Confers with programming personnel and oversee testing of new and revised programs and procedures. Responsible for oversight of evaluating, developing, and maintaining data systems. Identifies system needs and directs composition of new and revised program instructions and observes operational effects. Provides guidance to assist operators in locating and overcoming error conditions. Makes minor program and input data revisions to maintain operations. Notifies programming and maintenance personnel if unable to locate and correct cause of error or failure. Revises operating schedule to adjust for delays. Prepares or reviews records and reports of production, operating, and down time. Recommends changes in programs, routines, and quality control standards. Develops computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery. Presents recommendations to management relating to purchasing and installing hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment. Stays updated on emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge and inform strategic decisions. Skills and Experience: Strong project management skills with experience in Agile, Lean, Scrum, or other similar methodologies for delivering IT initiatives. Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and implement effective technology solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and present IT strategies to stakeholders. Experience managing budgets and allocating resources to optimize IT performance and achieve business objectives. Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making and organizational insights. Certification in IT service management or project management methodologies (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or Prince2). Experience driving digital transformation initiatives within organizations, leveraging technology to achieve strategic goals. Experience working in an international environment: Familiarity with cultural and regulatory differences across different regions. International collaboration across multiple teams and partners to drive program and project success. Ability to work across multiple time zones. Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues quickly and efficiently. Ability to prioirtise effectively. Ability to translate business requirements into business and technical designs and lead build teams (on and offshore) to deliver applications on time and on budget. Ability to work at C suite level and build solid project management cadence defining and leading Steering Committee and Stakeholder reporting. Experience of working with Jira. Language skills – English essential, Spanish advantageous and other languages beneficial Build well-articulated problem statements and solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred for advanced leadership expertise. 5 years required in IT management management or a similar leadership role, showcasing a strong track record in technology oversight .Programming and systems analysis.
