Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
Hours: Office-based, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Do you enjoy building supplier relationships and sourcing the right tech for the job?
Do you know your way around office hardware, from laptops and accessories to switches and servers?
Are you looking for a role where your product knowledge and communication skills help keep everything running smoothly?
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Managed Service Provider based in Paddock Wood. The role has evolved to focus more on IT hardware procurement and vendor management – while still touching on licensing and renewals.
You will be the go-to person for sourcing IT hardware and consumables, managing supplier relationships, raising quotes and orders, and ensuring smooth coordination between teams. If you have experience in IT procurement, technical sales support, or desktop hardware coordination, this could be a great fit.
What you will be doing:
* Handling procurement of IT hardware and accessories – desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, consumables, etc.
* Managing supplier relationships and negotiating best pricing
* Supporting licensing renewals and quotes (Microsoft 365, Veeam, WatchGuard, etc.)
* Coordinating closely with service desk, projects, and finance teams
* Keeping customers and internal stakeholders updated with product and delivery timelines
* Managing warranties, renewals, and tracking annuity contracts
What we are looking for:
* Experience in an IT procurement, supply chain, or sales support role
* Confident understanding of desktop/laptop hardware, accessories, and common office IT equipment
* Strong relationship-building skills – able to liaise with both suppliers and internal teams
* Knowledge of infrastructure items (servers, switches) – desirable
* Microsoft 365 licensing or MS-900 certification – a bonus, not essential
* Strong attention to detail and confident in using Excel and Outlook
Benefits include:
* 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
* Your birthday off each year
* Discretionary Christmas bonus
* Regular team socials and paid-for training
* Annual pay reviews
* Up to 2 days paid leave for dependent care
* Office-based in Paddock Wood (some flexibility for occasional WFH or family commitments)
If you enjoy being the person who knows what to buy, where to get it, and how to keep things moving – this role could be ideal.
