With a reputation for high-quality delivery across a range of sectors, this business has built long-term relationships with clients in the commercial, leisure, retail and public sectors. They work on projects typically valued between £500k and £5m, offering a dynamic and varied workload. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to have real input into project success from day one. As Planner, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): - Supporting the pre-construction and delivery teams by developing robust, logical programmes for tenders and live projects. - Working closely with project teams to ensure that plans are realistic, achievable, and aligned with client expectations. - Monitoring progress on ongoing jobs and advising on any slippage, delays, or risks to delivery. - Participating in internal reviews to help drive programme accuracy and mitigate potential issues early. - Using your knowledge of construction methods and sequencing to provide practical solutions. To be considered for this role, you will have: - Proven experience in a planning role within the construction or fit-out industry. - A strong understanding of construction programmes, build methodology, and scheduling software (experience using Asta is preferred). - Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with operational teams and senior stakeholders. - A proactive and hands-on approach to planning and problem-solving.
