The Role:
Lead Siemens PLC and HMI programming (TIA Portal, S7‑1200/1500, WinCC)
Design control system architecture and electrical panels
Commission systems on-site and troubleshoot installations
Integrate IIoT, SCADA, and data analytics for maximum performance
What Were Looking For:
Proven, confident experience with Siemens PLCs and HMIs – this is essential
Strong grounding in industrial automation and electrical schematics
Full UK driving licence and ability to use own transport initially (mileage reimbursed)
Full, unrestricted right to work in the UK (defence sector compliance)
Self-driven, problem-solving mindset
Additional Skills That Stand Out:
SCADA, IIoT, or machine data analytics experience
Knowledge of other PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi)
Formal qualifications (HNC/HND/BEng) in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering
