We are currently looking for an IT Support Technician to join our existing team working at London Heathrow Airport, the UK's busiest and most exciting airport.
In this role, you will be providing 1st line support for mission-critical desktop IT passenger systems used for check-in and departure. Key activities include:
1. 1st line deskside support of users on site at Heathrow Airport.
2. Windows desktop support.
3. Printer support & preventative maintenance.
4. Configuring and installing new PCs.
Training will be provided on the specific hardware and software used on site, but a basic understanding and interest in Windows PCs and printer hardware is required. Qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Job requirements:
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team member.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Good customer management skills to meet service targets and maximize customer satisfaction.
* Full UK manual driving licence or currently taking driving lessons.
* Ability to obtain an airside badge, which involves DBS clearance and suitable references for the past 5 years with no gaps longer than 28 days.
Working hours:
* 6 days on, 4 days off rotating shift pattern, covering 04:00 to 23:00, including weekends and bank holidays. Start times may vary.
