We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable Wraparound Care Assistant (Breakfast Club) to join our highly successful and happy school. We are renowned for our caring, family atmosphere where each pupil is respected for their individuality, and all are encouraged to develop confidence at every opportunity. We have an experienced and committed team of staff who work hard to bring out the best in everyone, and the breakfast club offers a vital service to our parents.
The successful candidate will be expected to take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment. They will demonstrate initiative in carrying out premises, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site. A flexible, "can-do maintenance duties" approach is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of the wider school team.

Essential Qualities
* Experience of working with children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting.
* Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Strong sense of responsibility for the safety and well-being of children.
* The ability to supervise activities and maintain routines.
* Use initiative, remain calm under pressure, and manage behaviour positively.
* Punctual, reliable, and flexible in approach.
* Awareness of safeguarding procedures and commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable Qualities
* Any relevant childcare qualification
* First Aid qualification (or willingness to train).
* Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to train).
* Understanding of health and safety in a childcare setting.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £3,854.80 per year
Expected hours: 7.5 per week
Work Location: In person
