What will I do?
Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department. To operate at both an operational and strategic level, managing all the housekeeping department’s activities. Taking personal responsibility for monitoring the standards, hiring, training and supervising all team members and delivering excellent guest services.
Is this the role for me?
* Proven experience as a Head Housekeeper is essential within a 4* hotel
* Strong leadership skills
* Ability to communicate to senior stakeholders
* Financially astute with strong Excel skills
* Previous budgetary management experience
* Strong understanding of payroll budget and keeping in line with the company targets
* Ability to prepare and submit regular financial reports on forecasting, performance, stock control and make recommendations where appropriate
* Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures
* Confident to deal with challenging HR situations
* Strong Health & Safety knowledge, in particular COSHH
