Procurement Specialist Consultant | Salary £40,000 - £45,000 | Hybrid | Northampton/Milton Keynes (Full-time and Part-time positions available)
We're partnering with a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting the UK education sector to appoint multiple Procurement Consultants based in Northampton/Milton Keynes.

You'll work as a procurement consultant, directly supporting educational institutions across the UK, managing tenders, delivering procurement consultancy services, helping them buy compliantly and cost-effectively. Real impact, real variety, real purpose.

What you'll be doing:
8. Deliver end-to-end procurement services, from strategic sourcing advice through to tender management and contract award
9. Manage tender exercises including ITT preparation, bid evaluation, and supplier selection
10. Provide consultancy services such as spend analysis, contract management, procurement strategy development, and compliance advice
11. Support clients using compliant procurement frameworks and help them navigate the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR
12. Conduct onsite procurement support for institutions with resource challenges
13. Work across a variety of categories such as FM services, IT, catering and professional services
14. Deliver training and guidance on procurement best practices to client stakeholders
What they need:
15. 1+ year procurement experience with exposure to end-to-end procurement
16. Experience or exposure to bids and managing tenders
17. Public sector experience highly desirable (education sector is a bonus)
18. Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations (or eager to learn)
19. Client management or stakeholder engagement experience
20. Category experience in FM, IT, catering, or professional services (ideal but not essential)
21. CIPS not required-they'll support you in getting qualified
22. Willingness to learn and genuine passion for supporting education
