Role Details (Site-based):
Ferrovial Construction seeks Graduate Engineers to assist with daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program aims to enhance your personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended learning approach. You will work under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and collaborate with the site team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage or assist in managing a project or a project package from start to finish.
* Contribute to health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
* Coordinate team activities to ensure project completion on budget and schedule.
* Work with procurement to ensure financial compliance.
* Assist in maintaining health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Support Project Managers in team management, resource planning, performance, and motivation.
* Promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s vision and values, taking ownership of assigned work.
* Follow safe working practices and ensure team compliance.
Skills and Competence:
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at various levels.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered).
* Motivated to learn and contribute.
* Analytical, team-oriented, and deadline-driven.
* Proactive and commercially aware.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Interpersonal Skills:
* Highly motivated, logical, resilient, and flexible.
* Results-driven with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Engineering experience.
* CSCS Card.
Essential:
* Right to work in the UK for the duration of the program.
