The role
As a Project Assistant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Join our team playing a key role in supporting project governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Day-to-day, you’ll support the Project Controls Manager in maintaining programme artefacts, delivering timely performance reports, assisting bid workshops, and engaging with stakeholders—including MOD and partners—to drive effective governance and project success.
1. Represent the Project Controls Manager, operating within delegated authority to support delivery objectives
2. Ensure accurate administration of project artefacts, including stakeholder plans, lessons learned, and schedule adherence
3. Assist with performance reporting to track progress against programme milestones
4. Provide support during bid team workshops and contribute to collaborative planning
5. Maintain daily engagement with stakeholders, including MOD and contracted partners, to foster strong working relationships
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements
Essential experience of the Project Assistant
6. Skilled in business applications such as SAP and Synergi, with a working knowledge of project management tools
7. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking capabilities
8. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement
10. Solid foundation in project principles and administration, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
