Job Description
* Perform on-site technical support, including installations, deinstallations, relocations, certifications, and repairs, adhering to customer service level agreements.
* Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide remote support for technical issues reported by customers.
* Prioritize, plan, and execute field corrective actions, upgrades, and preventive maintenance to ensure business continuity for our customers.
* Inform and prepare customers for successful installations, ensuring all requirements are met.
* Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and data entry in service management systems.
* Manage personal planning, administration, and car stock efficiently.
* Escalate and retain ownership of technical challenges until resolution.
* Comply with all quality, ISO, GMP, and safety regulations, upholding BD's commitment to excellence.
Monday - Friday - Days
The Successful Applicant
You will ideally be an experienced Field Service Engineer, or maintenance engineer looking for a change, as well as:
* A recognised qualification in Engineering (i.e HNC, HND etc.) or time-served
* Full UK Driving License
* Practical knowledge of computer systems, mechatronics, pneumatics is advantageous
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
* The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* A willingness to travel across the Oxfordshire region (M40 Corridor)
