Job Overview
1. Ensure all Statutory and Mandatory elements of the contract and relevant standards are achieved
2. Lead for all hard service disciplines across site
3. To provide dedicated support to the Facilities Management team ensuring the highest standard of services are provided to the Thales client and customers
4. Support the FM to improve and enhance stakeholder relationships
5. Provide FM resilience across the Crawley site
6. Optimise systems and processes to maximise efficiencies of teams and reduce energy consumption
To develop understanding of the contract commercial and deliverable frameworks as part of development
7. Continual management of PPM and reactive tasks, ensuring tasks are completed in line with the agreed SLA and KPIs
8. Operational and line management of the engineering team to ensure best productivity
9. PDA training, development and auditing with on site team
10. To drive & encourage % PDA usage
11. Complete and maintain the training matrix for site engineers
12. Lead on developing, supporting and mentoring engineers to maximise their potential
13. Management of sub-contractros, ensuring they are booked in and works carried out in line with contractual requirements
Main Duties
14. Management of additional sub-contractor work to ensure the scope of works is agreed and signed off, and arrange for quotes and works to be undertaken
15. Ensure all Subcontractor RAMS are fully reviewed, recorded and permits are issued
16. Ensure correct and complaint certifaction is uploaded, into Maximo, Sharepoint and site files as required
17. Take a pro-active role in and engaging with clients, developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction is maximised
18. Ensure all self-delivered and subcontractor activities are managed in line with Mitie's Safe systems of Work processes and policies, including the issuing of access permits and permits to work
19. Assist the FM in producing monthly reports
20. Support the implementation of the One team ethos across all service lines
21. Input and support key projects and initiatives
22. Take ownership of Mitie standards and health and safety across the teams
23. Carry out monthly reviews, huddles and audits for hard services
24. Enhance the service delivery model with cross functional working and team building
25. Build and create a proactive customer focussed delivery model for all hard service contracts
26. Ability to obtain, evaluate and challenge quotations from suppliers
27. Lead on energy saving initiatives and constant improvements and provide input to the quarterly energy performance reviews
28. Attend and represent Mitie in client meetings when required
29. Report technical issues to contract Hard Service and Energy Lead and request support when needed

30. Experience in M&E industries
31. Experience in dealing with various mechanical, electrical and specialist systems (liquid nitrogen, oxygen monitoring, compressed air)
32. Experience in working with and managing a team of multi skilled engineers
33. Water management experience desirable
34. Mechanical Engineering qualification
35. Strong customer care focus
36. Health and Safety awareness and knowledge (IOSH Working Safely)
37. Full and Clean driving Licence
38. Able to work at heights
39. Smart in appearance
40. Able to process administration tasks associated with the role
