Position Overview
The Systems Administrator plays a key role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting technology infrastructure across the organization. This position handles complex technical projects, system upgrades, and deployments—ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations throughout the agency’s network.

1. Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, network equipment, and related systems across multiple locations.
2. Assist with infrastructure design, project planning, and implementation of new technology initiatives.
3. Provide advanced support for systems, networking, and applications as escalated from other IT staff.
4. Manage and document system configurations, procedures, and project plans.
5. Monitor network performance and security, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
6. Coordinate technology rollouts including hardware refreshes, new site setups, and major software deployments.
7. Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure projects align with agency priorities and timelines.
8. Support agency-wide initiatives such as cloud migration, VoIP systems, and EHR integrations.
9. Maintain accurate asset inventories and project documentation.
10. Provide staff training and communication related to new technology rollouts or process changes.

12. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications
13. Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred), or equivalent experience.
14. Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience, including network and systems administration.
15. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network technologies (switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
16. Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud-based environments (Azure, M365).
17. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and project management skills.
18. Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff.
19. Demonstrated commitment to the agency’s values and a dependable, respectful, and service-oriented team member.
20. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel frequently.
21. Ability to lift and carry computer equipment as required.
