Role – Electrical Design Engineer
Location – Leicestershire
Type - Permanent
Salary – £35,000 - £60,000 per annum.
A Leicestershire based Engineering company are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical design package
* Previous electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
* Previous experience designing industrial machinery
* Good PLC/ HMI understanding & knowledge
* Full UK driving license
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
The Electrical Design Engineer duties & responsibilities will include:
* Producing design documentation & electrical wiring diagrams
* Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all times
* Providing support to other engineers when required
* Writing software for PLC & HMIs
