We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join the Future Protected Modem – A System team in Portsmouth.
You will be an experienced Systems Engineer with a solid background in delivering software projects. Within our team, you will work to understand, elaborate and model the system requirements for the software specific elements of a satellite communication system.
Responsibilities
* Develop Systems Models from derived customer requirements.
* Define the System Level design following MBSE using SysML or UML.
* Contribute to system designs, capturing the role of software products and ensuring they become a working system.
* Work with development teams to share the high‑level architecture, ensuring they can produce required software components.
* Collaborate with the Ground Systems team to ensure user requirements are fully captured and traced.
* Attend daily scrum stand‑ups for the Systems team.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of software solutions within a software product environment.
* Experience in modelling to capture the system design.
