What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* Relevant Qualifications: PSV, HGV, or light vehicle maintenance and repair (minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). We'll also consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience if you're not formally qualified.

* Full UK Driving License: Must have a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.

* PCV License: A PCV license is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain one.

* Medical Fitness: Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.

* Commitment to Quality: A passion for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance work.

Your Role

As a Skilled Engineer, you will:

* Perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs on a fleet of commercial buses.

* Ensure that all vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs meet Arriva and DVSA standards.

* Assist with MOT preparation, preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.

* Improve bus reliability through continuous monitoring, maintenance, and repair.
