Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Middlewich, Cheshire
Position: Day to Day supply
Salary: £95-£130 a day
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged
* Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across various subjects and age groups
* Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment
* Promote high standards of behaviour and discipline
* Provide support and assistance to students during lessons, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed
* Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant staff members
* Ensure that the school's policies and procedures are followed, particularly in relation to safeguarding and health and safety
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with secondary school-aged students (preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent classroom management abilities
* A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude
* A genuine interest in supporting students and contributing to their learning
* DBS checked or willing to undergo a DBS check
* No specific teaching qualification required, but a background in education or working with young people is beneficial
