We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our large, well-established employer based in Yeovil on an ongoing temporary contract.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our production line running smoothly — tracking progress, resolving issues, and coordinating emergent work to ensure schedules stay on track.
You’ll work closely with operations management, planning, and performance teams to analyse data, support decision-making, and help drive continuous improvement across our processes.
What You’ll Do
* Support day-to-day production activities, ensuring all operational tasks are clearly planned, tracked, and delivered on time.
* Identify and document emergent (unplanned) work, coordinating approvals and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
* Maintain and update production schedules, highlighting risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
* Provide regular reports and insights on performance, progress, and resource utilisation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and support business performance goals.
* Ensure compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and ethics.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in supply chain, production, or operations coordination.
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Confident using planning tools and data systems (e.g. SAP, Excel, MES, or similar).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
