What Will You Be Doing as a Senior Planning Co-ordinator?
As part of the IMRDS Capital Delivery Mains Renewal Planning Team, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating street works for our Mains Renewal Programme. Your focus will be on theE2E co-ordination of street works activity, ensuring effective planning and smooth delivery of critical projects.You’llwork closely with multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuringtimelypermit applications, Highway Authority engagement, and safe and efficient delivery of works. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the future of Anglian Water’s operations and helpmaintainvital services for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Street Works E2E Co-ordination:Overseeall aspects of the permit process,permit applications, manage changes, and collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth project flow.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with Highways Authorities, utilities, and internal teams to resolve any road space issues, and ensure permit approvals.
3. Safety and Planning: Ensure safety measures are embedded into all work practices and continuously review and improve planning processes.
4. Scheme Co-ordination: Lead engineering and construction lookahead meetings, track progress, and resolve any obstacles or risks to project timelines.
5. Scheme Support: Manage utility plans, coordinate TM (Traffic Management) sharing collaborations, and ensure the project stays on track.
6. Team Mentoring: Support and mentor other team members in Street Works andplanning, andhelp embed new systems and processes.
A Little Bit About Your Skills, Experience, and Behaviours…
7. Proven Experience:Significant experiencein Street Works, permit applications, and stakeholder management, particularly in complex schemes across multiple roadsand Highway Authorities.
8. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of NRSWA legislation and experience with Street Manager,PermitManager, and other relevant systems, including SharePoint/M365.
9. Problem Solver: Ability toidentifyissues early, propose solutions, and ensure smooth delivery of the Mains Renewal Programme.
10. Collaboration:Strong teamplayer with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
11. Attention to Detail: Highly organised with an eye for detail, ensuring all permits and plans are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
