Alternative Provision Teacher - One-to-One Education Support

Location:Lincoln and surrounding areas
Rate:£30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)
Schedule:Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours:9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)
Focus:Individualised teaching for students with SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs
About The Role
Are you an experienced educator with a passion for inclusive learning? We are looking for SEN Teachers to deliver one-to-one support to students who require a more personalised approach to education. You'll work with learners facing a range of challenges, helping them build confidence, develop key academic skills, and re-engage with their education in a meaningful way.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored lessons in core subjects, adapted to each student's individual learning needs
* Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure consistent support
* Encourage personal growth, resilience, and academic achievement
* Promote positive behaviour and model lifelong learning values
What We're Looking For
* QTS or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
* At least 2 years of teaching experience
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
* Experience teaching across Key Stages 1-4
* Proven ability to support students with SEN and SEMH needs
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
