Senior Data Engineer | Contract | up to £800pd Inside IR35
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, engineer-led consultancy that specialises in solving hard, high-impact technical problems for large organisations.
The Role
They’re looking for a Data Engineer with real-world, production experience to join their consulting team. You’ll work closely with client engineering teams on complex data problems — from data modelling and pipelines to streaming, reliability, and operational excellence.
What They’re Looking For
* Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals and data modelling
* Commercial experience with Python (and strong SQL skills)
* Experience with streaming and data processing (e.g. Kafka, Spark, Athena or similar)
* Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider
* Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
* Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
