Join our team as a Department Administrator and play a key role in helping our department run smoothly and efficiently. About the Role As the first point of contact for the department, you'll provide high-quality administrative and PA support to the Director of Curriculum, Operations Manager, Curriculum Managers, and other staff. You'll manage the day-to-day operations of the departmental office, coordinate meetings and events, maintain records, and ensure effective communication across the team. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and PA support to senior staff. Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentation materials. Maintain departmental SharePoint and filing systems. Process orders and invoices using College finance systems. Organise meetings, take minutes, and support departmental events. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including students, employers, and schools. Ensure compliance with data protection and college policies. What We're Looking For Essential: - HNC in Business or Administration (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience. - Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills. - Experience in providing administrative support in a large organisation. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Desirable: - ECDL or equivalent IT qualification. - Experience with college administrative systems. - Understanding of departmental curriculum and examining bodies.
