Role Overview We’re recruiting for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join the UK Technology desk. You’ll be instrumental in driving end-to-end recruitment across high-demand technology markets including Data, Software Engineering, AI/Machine Learning, and Cyber Security. This role offers a hybrid working pattern out of Reading, a competitive base salary up to £40,000 plus an uncapped commission scheme, and benefits. What You’ll Do Lead full 360° recruitment cycles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation & placement Build and manage client relationships with UK-based organisations hiring tech talent Deliver quality hires across contract and permanent roles Develop and execute search strategies using multiple channels (direct sourcing, market mapping, networks) Partner with internal teams to understand role requirements and market trends Hit and exceed individual revenue targets Who You Are 18 months – 2.5 years’ recruitment experience (agency or in-house) Comfortable recruiting into technical and non-technical roles Open to both contract and permanent market experience Motivated, commercially aware, and ready to cross-train into new tech markets A strong communicator with the drive to build a personal desk What You’ll Get £40,000 DPE base salary Competitive commission plan Hybrid working (3 days in Reading office / 2 days remote) Career development and support across multiple tech sectors To apply, contact Steven O’Nyons at steve@equilibrium-rec.com
