About the Opportunity:
NRL is recruiting an experienced Quality Engineer for a prestigious client based in (Location). This role offers the chance to work on a high-profile project with a reputable company, providing professional growth and long-term stability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Managing quality assurance to ensure standards and specifications are met.
2. Operating autonomously, reporting directly to engineering and quality management teams.
3. Leading audits and inspections to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
4. Owning and managing Life Time Records (LTRs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
5. Coordinating work packs, quality plans, and preparing weekly reports.
6. Promoting Health, Safety, and Quality procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
What You’ll Need:
1. A passion for quality engineering, especially in mechanical engineering or coating inspection.
2. Certification as a Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015.
3. A solid engineering background, such as HNC in Mechanical Engineering or ICORR Level 2 with NACE Levels 1, 2 & 3 Coatings.
4. Experience in highly regulated environments contributing to quality management processes.
5. Expertise in managing LTRs and ITPs.
6. Security clearance: BPSS and/or SC Cleared, or willingness to obtain clearance.
