Principal People are working exclusively on behalf of a national company within the Distribution and Logistics industry.
We are looking for a Health and Safety professional who is keen to get started in establishing their Health and Safety career with a growing business who is passionate with a good understand of health and safety knowledge and legislation.
This position is based full time in Swindon covering two sites autonomously, with flexible working hours reporting into Regional Health and Safety Manager who will be a key support in this role, who is a great leader for the individual to develop in this position.
The role will be working closely with the wider health and safety team, who are keen to help develop and support one another working in a fast-paced environment in a varied role which will be both operational and admin based.
This position will focus on progressing your health and safety career working for an established company with plenty of opportunities for professional growth and development.
Health and Safety Advisor – £38,000 to £40,000 – Distribution and Logistics – Swindon
The key duties include:
Overseeing health and safety management systems
Daily site walks, risk assessments, accident investigations
Updating HSE Management records
Forming positive relationships with the site teams and being visible across the location
Liaising with customers with safety related enquiries Why should you apply for the role?
