Job Description
Key role in the Service department supporting customers and field‑based breakdown engineers across a regional area, arranging site visits to resolve machine breakdowns.
Responsibilities
Scheduling engineers, discussing faults and job expectations with engineers and customers, and invoicing completed work.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive attitude, strong problem‑solving ability and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility is essential to meet team targets and support engineers and colleagues when required.
* Confident communicating at manager/director level
* Knowledge of machine build processes and structure
* Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, scheduling systems)
* Experience in planning and coordinating work
* Able to manage customer and engineer expectations
* Strong telephone and communication skills
* Able to understand technical written reports
