We’re partnering with a global facilities-management provider on behalf of a major London stadium contract. They’re seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join the on-site team and deliver high-quality building-fabric maintenance across this world-class venue. About the Role As Fabric Engineer, you’ll take ownership of both planned and reactive fabric-maintenance tasks to ensure the stadium’s structure, finishes, and interiors remain in pristine condition. From small repairs and preventative inspections to event-day preparations, your work underpins the venue’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities * Execute PPM schedules for building fabric elements (roofing, cladding, joinery, plasterwork, decoration) * Diagnose and remedy fabric defects—cracks, leaks, damaged finishes, door/window malfunctions * Carry out minor carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling, and flooring repairs * Support event set-up and post-event tear-down maintenance tasks * Record all work orders and update asset-management systems (CAFM) with accuracy * Ensure full compliance with health & safety, security and site protocols * Collaborate with engineers, contractors and operations staff to deliver seamless service Your Profile * NVQ/CITY & GUILDS Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Building Maintenance, Joinery, Carpentry or related trade * Proven fabric-maintenance experience in high-footfall/public-venue or commercial environments * Hands-on skills across carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling and remedial works * Sound understanding of building-envelope systems (roof, façade, insulation) * CAFM proficiency and strong record-keeping discipline * Flexible approach to shift patterns, including event-driven early starts, late finishes and occasional weekends * Strong communicator with a safety-first mindset What’s on Offer * Overtime Available * Work at one of London’s flagship stadiums and play a direct role in major events * Overtime opportunities, skills training, and clear career progression within a global FM leader * A supportive team culture and the chance to develop multi-disciplinary expertise
