Vacancy: Operations & Finance Manager Falmouth / Cornwall (remote/hybrid possible) Up to 16 hours per week About Terranomics Terranomics is a specialist environmental finance consultancy based in Falmouth, Cornwall. We support organisations across the UK and internationally to deliver nature finance, natural capital, and landscape recovery projects. We operate at the intersection of finance, policy, and environmental management, providing strategic advice and project delivery. Purpose of the role To provide operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the business, and effective coordination between Director, specialist support providers and team. Key responsibilities We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to try new challenges. Operations – helping track pipeline, sales, profitability, workload. Assistance with other day to day tasks will be helpful. HR Support – supporting recruitment processes and candidate communications. Liaising with external HR advisors and payroll providers. Helping organise team meetings and social events. Records & Compliance – organising company admin, project files and records. Finance & Accounting – we will provide training for those less experienced in finance. Tasks typically include liaising with accountants for monthly reconciliations, supporting financial forecasting, processing expenses, monitoring invoicing. We will provide training and do not expect candidates to be expert in all these areas. Skills & experience Experience in financial or operations administration. Strong coordination and communication skills. Organised, proactive, and discreet, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication. Ideally, some familiarity with Xero and workflow/project management software, although training can be given if needed.
