About the Role
Working hours are Monday to Friday on a rotating weekly pattern: Week 1: 05:45–14:30, Week 2: 09:00–18:00 (Recruiting for two positions).
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support yard and warehouse colleagues
* Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safe, well-organised yard and warehouse operations
* Ensure customer orders are picked, checked, and fulfilled accurately and on time
* Receive and check stock against Proof of Delivery, completing all required documentation
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and compliance
* Support stock control, rotation, and loss prevention across the yard and warehouse
* Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Support Branch sales performance, KPIs, and operational targets
Qualifications
* GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English (desirable)
* Forklift licence (desirable)
* Experience in a yard, warehouse, or customer-focused role (desirable)
* Previous people management experience (desirable)

* Relevant product or market knowledge
* Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a yard and warehouse team
* Strong customer service focus
* Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Effective communication and relationship-building skills
* IT literacy and willingness to learn
