Were looking for a skilledElectrical Maintenance Engineer to join our production team and help keep our operations running at their best.
This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and optimising production machinery with a strong emphasis on electrical installations, fault finding, and PLC monitoring.
Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and PLC monitoring.
Complete scheduled cleaning, sanitisation, and washouts of production equipment.
Inspect, maintain, and replace components to ensure smooth, reliable performance.
Support production teams to meet filling schedules efficiently and to a high standard.
Respond to production demands by prioritising tasks and adapting to changing requirements.
Key requirements Setting and tooling changes to bottle filling equipment, bottle sorting equipment, application torque machinery, ink jet coding machinery, cap sorting bowls and elevators, electrical installation, PLC monitoring, electrical repair.
Sanitising and washing of production equipment.
Maintenance/repair activities coupled with fault finding inspection and component replacement plus electrical.
Generally aiding production to achieve the filling plans and ensure work is completed in good time.
Engineering Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent); HND/Bachelors in Electrical Engineering is desirable.
Experience with PLC fault finding (Omron/Mitsubishi/Siemens).
Valid driving licence.
Ability to work a shift pattern.
Powered pallet truck licence (preferred).
Strong manual handling skills and competence with a variety of hand tools.
